Stop Listening and Watching Bad Birth stories!

They are everywhere. And well intentioned friends are possibly telling you theirs right now.

It is unfortunate. It is sad. And I feel for the people that didn’t have good births. And they might have “done everything right”. And they deserved to be honored too.

Their birth has absolutely nothing to do with you though. What happened to them will not happen to you. You get to create your own story.

There are positive birth stories everywhere too. I could tell you 4 of my own! We watch some of the most incredible births in class. People email me the morning after they have their baby to tell me how great it was. They flag me down in the grocery store with the biggest smile on their face because it was just that good!
