My Midwife

Monica was my midwife for my 4th and final baby. Monica encompasses everything I wanted in a care provider.

In my prenatal care appointments she was warm and caring and listened. She had no agenda other than providing me with compassion and confidence as I headed into labor.

She is absolutely my favorite person to attend any of my births. She peacefully held a presence in the room while stepping in to offers suggestions when she thought they were needed. All while being respectful of the labor that was taking place.

She provided encouraging words as well as incorporated HypnoBirthing words (which I did not ask of her) and reminded me as I birthed my baby that we were going to do this gently. Such a gift!

Choosing the right care provider is so important. Be sure they align with the birth you are hoping for. It makes all the difference in the world!
