Group Goals

To support postpartum mothers in reconnecting with themselves, building resilience, and reclaiming their physical and emotional health, while fostering meaningful connections with others. Through practical tools and compassionate guidance, the group aims to help participants navigate the challenges of motherhood, prioritize self-care, strengthen relationships, and embrace their new and evolving identity as a mom with confidence and clarity. This series is for first-time moms.

Total investment: $195 per participant

What to expect

Sessions will begin with a meditation and gentle movement to help each person reconnect with themselves and feel grounded as a group.  Each session there will be journal prompts, group discussions and takeaways to implement into your daily life.

Week One

"Embracing the Unseen: When Motherhood Unfolds Differently Than You Imagined"

  • Introductions

  • Learn breathing techniques

  • Discuss Commonizing vs Normalizing

  • Challenge thoughts related to things being difficult and remaining difficult

  • How to organize your day

Week Two

"Rest & Recharge: Prioritizing Sleep and Self-Care in Motherhood"

  • Discuss sleep for your baby and for you

  • Discuss partner involvement

  • What is self care? Discuss how it can be different for everyone

  • Hobbies outside of being a mom

  • Challenging the idea “I don’t have time”

Week Three

"Beyond Baby: Exploring Intimacy, Body Image, and Nourishment Postpartum"

  • Body after baby

  • Refraining from restricting foods

  • Cycle awareness

  • Sex after baby

  • Building intimacy outside of sex

  • Understanding the cycles that relationships can fall into after birth

Week Four

 "Balancing Ambitions: Navigating the Choice Between Career and Staying Home After Baby"

  • Making the decision to return to work or stay home

  • Financial considerations

  • Tackling mom guilt

  • Giving your partner time and space to parent

  • You have a choice when it comes to your emotional well being

We need your Input

This group will be limited to 6 participants. Being with other new moms that are going through the same phase of life as you is so valuable. It will be a safe space to share thoughts and a place where we can lift each other up in this transitional time. Moms need other moms.

Meet Facilitators

Caroline O’Neill

Caroline O’Neill is a mom of four kids ages 15, 12, 10 and 8. Caroline is a licensed Massage Therapist and HypnoBirthing instructor. Caroline has been supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum since 2012.  Caroline’s passion is supporting and meeting women wherever they are in their journey, validating their experience while empowering them to grow.  Caroline believes massage is beyond just a physical experience but a time when women can reconnect with themselves, find peace and healing and leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to handle life’s daily demands.  In her HypnoBirthing course she teaches breathing techniques, relaxation exercises and empowers women to find the strength within themselves to not only prepare for birth but motherhood.  In this therapeutic group. Caroline will contribute her knowledge on meditation and mindfulness, how to take care of your mind and body through physical movement as well as sharing how she found ways to thrive through 4 postpartum times. 

Dylan Beckner

Dylan Beckner is a mom of 2- ages 1 and 2.5, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health therapist (PMH-C) with a focus on mental health, specializing in perinatal care, eating disorders, trauma, and emotional well-being. With a deep personal understanding of the challenges surrounding both mental health and informed medical decision making, she empowers clients to navigate difficult life transitions, particularly in the perinatal period, through a compassionate, informed, and client-centered approach. Dylan uses a variety of therapeutic modalities to support individuals in reclaiming their sense of strength, agency, and wholeness, whether they are facing anxiety, depression, body image issues, or trauma. Dylan will contribute her knowledge on mental health during the postpartum period. Dylan will assist you in challenging negative automatic thoughts, recognizing what is in your control, and communicating what you need.
